Risperdal Lawsuit: Overweight or Gynecomastia?

Risperdal is an atypical anti-psychotic drug which may cause gynecomastia in men. Gynecomastia is a condition resulting in enlarged breasts secondary to Risperdal use during puberty.

Many clients are calling and asking how they can tell the difference between gynecomastia versus suffering from an overweight condition. Some men do experience breast enlargement as a result of being overweight. However, there is a significant difference with gynecomastia which causes enlargements of glands in the chest. Additionally, gynecomastia persists even with weight loss.

A medical doctor can determine whether or not you suffer from gynecomastia. We are urging our clients, and people who contact us, to see their physicians. Mention any of your concerns and get a definitive diagnosis. The doctor will perform a physical examination, blood tests, and other studies to officially determine whether the problem stems from weight gain or enlarged glands in the chest from Risperdal.

If you suspect having gynecomastia secondary to Risperdal usage, we urge you to get in touch with one of our Risperdal lawsuit attorneys. At Kershaw|Cook|Talley, we fight on behalf of your rights. We represent many Risperdal clients and have years of experience handling defective drug cases. Please feel free to contact us at 888-997-5170 or fill out one of our online forms.
